Scope
The committee was established to complete an inquiry, commenced by another Senate committee, regarding the 'environmental conditions', and the preservation of sacred sites, of Indigenous Australians. The committee's report described the inquiry as a 'national examination of the diverse factors influencing the lives of Aboriginal and Islander peoples.'
