Central Reserve Bank Bill / Senate Committees

Scope

The committee considered whether and at what time a central reserve bank should be established and the suitability of the establishing bill. When the government members of the committee withdrew, the committee recommended leaving the Commonwealth Bank to continue to perform the functions of a central reserve bank.
